Makkal Aatchi is a 1995 Tamil language Indian film directed by R. K. Selvamani. The film features Mammootty in the lead role and Roja, Aishwarya, Anandaraj and Livingston in supporting roles.[1][2] Makkal Aatchi became a major success among 1995 Deepavali releases, along with Muthu. The movie was dubbed in Malayalam as Ente Naadu.

Reception

Makkal Aatchi opened in diwali 1995 to positive reviews and met with major success at the box office, prompting the director and lead actor to come together again in Arasiyal (1997), another film based on politics.[4]
