Makadara Constituency
Makadara Constituency is an electoral consituency in Nairobi County, Kenya. It was created for the 1997 elections, but was also known as Doonholm constituency for the 1963 and 1969 elections, then as Bahati Constituency. It consists of central and south of central areas of Nairobi. Makadara constituency has common boundaries with Makadara Division of Nairobi. The entire constituency is located within Nairobi City Council area. The constituency has an area of 20 km².
Mwai Kibaki, who later became the president of Kenya, served as a Makadara MP before moving to Othaya Constituency.
