Maharishi University of Management and Technology is a private university with its main campus in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, India.^[5][6] The University is established under Maharishi University of Management and Technology Act No. 10 of 2002 passed by the Legislature of Chhattisgarh State.^[7]

Description

The university is accredited by the University Grants Commission (India)^[8] and was established by a special Act of the State Legislature of Chhattisgarh. Its purpose is to disseminate quality education in the field of management and technology by using scientifically validated methodology based on the knowledge of Maharishi Vedic Management and Maharishi Vedic Science.^[9] Maharishi University of Management and Technology is run and sponsored by Maharishi Shiksha Sansthan.^[10] The University has campuses in Bilaspur, Raipur, Raigarh and Durg. Maharishi University of Management and Technology is a part of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji's worldwide organization . Maharishi Mahesh Yogi has introduced Consciousness-Based Education which is a validated ideal system of education in the main stream of present education. The MUMT has integrated knowledge of life in its curriculum with the most update course work in different areas on Management and Technology as per the time's demand. ^[11]
