The Madison Gas and Electric Company Powerhouse is located in Madison, Wisconsin and is operated by Madison Gas and Electric. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.[1]
History
The powerhouse was built by Madison Gas and Electric in 1902. In 1915, it was remodeled at a cost of $150,000.[2] The building was also designated a landmark by the Madison Landmarks Commission in 2002.[3]
