Madikonda is a neighbourhood of Warangal in Telangana, India. It is on the way from Hyderabad to Warangal by way of National Highway 202. Also Known as Manigiri.
Mettu Gutta (Rocksteps Hill) is a famous Hindu temple that is located in Madikonda.
There are two temples on Mettu gutta. One temple is for Lord Shiva and other one is for Lord Sri Ram. Local people call this temple as Mettu Rama Lingeshwara swamy temple. There are four historical temples in the village. Lord Shiva Keshava temple, Lord Venu Gopalaswamy temple, Lord Hanumangi and Mettu Rama Lingeshwaraswamy Temple. Madikonda is now part of Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation
IT Park is established in Madikonda. The Govt Of India has recently announced Railway Wagon Factory. The land procurement process has been completed. The Great Telangana poet/writer Kaloji studied in Madikonda school.
