Anjali replaced her in the film and soon after the makers announced that Taapsee Pannu was approached to play one of the two lead female roles.[6][7][8][9] Varalaxmi has been brought in replacement of Taapsee,[10] as the latter had some date issues.

Sadha played supporting role, while Prakash Raj and Nithin Sathya were signed on in supporting roles.[11] Taapsee has opted out of the film and was replaced by Varalakshmi Sarathkumar.[12][13] Sonu Sood plays a leading industrialist who wants to step into politics to taste power.[14] Arya has done a cameo in this film.[15]
