Madesha is an Indian Kannada-language film starring Shivaraj Kumar and Sonu Bhatia. It is directed by Ravi Srivatsa and produced by B M Govardhan Murthy. The movie is slated for an August Release. Audio was launched on 24 Jun 2008.[1][2][3]

Controversy

Madesha was surrounded itself in many controversies even before its release. The censor board gave the film 18+ (A) rating due to its exaggerated and violent action sequences.[4] This raised a lot of hue and cry among fanboys and movie producers. Later, when film was released, moviegoers were particularly irritated about few scenes that were offensive and low in morality.[5][6]

Reception

Keeping in line with the recent trends of Shivaraj Kumar movies, this movie also failed to perform well in box office.
