Machiguenga (Matsigenka) is a major Arawakan language of Peru. It is close enough to Nomatsiguenga to sometimes be considered dialects of a single language, especially given that both are spoken by the Machiguenga people. Nanti is partially mutually intelligible but ethnically distinct.
