Machida Station (町田駅 Machida-eki) is a railway station on the Yokohama Line in Machida, Tokyo, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East).[1]
The station is located adjacent to Machida Station on the Odakyu Odawara Line.

History
The station first opened as Haramachida Station (原町田駅) on September 23, 1908.[2] The station was moved 0.4 km toward Hachiōji and renamed Machida on April 1, 1980 to reduce the walking distance between it and Shin-Haramachida Station (now Machida Station) on the Odakyu Odawara Line from 700 m to 300 m.[2][3]
