Eidsvold was a 4,184-ton motor vessel built in 1934 at Gothenburg.[1]
Fate
Eidsvold was sunk by a torpedo from the Japanese submarine I-159 at Flying Fish Cove, Christmas Island.[2] Her wreck was later towed to near Smith Point.
