The M43 motorway is a Hungarian motorway that will, upon completion, run from the junction with the M5 Motorway west of Szeged to the Romanian border at Nagylak via Makó. Currently, the 34 km (21 mi) section between Szeged and Makó is completed, the remaining part of 23 km (14 mi) is expected to be completed by mid 2015. It will connect with the A1 motorway in Romania.
