Munidasa Padamasiri Ranaweera also known as M. P. Ranaweera is the former Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka.[1]
Academia
M. P. Ranaweera received his primary education and secondary education at Ananda College,[2][3] Colombo and entered University of Ceylon in 1961. In 1965 he graduated with a first class honors degree in Civil engineering and began his career as an instructor at the engineering faculty of University of Peradeniya. Later he received a Ceylon government scholarship to enter Churchill College Cambridge in 1966,[4] and graduated with masters and Phd in engineering in structural engineering.
