M. Mohanan

M. Mohanan was born in Kannur, Kerala, India. He is and actor and writer.

He began writing in college and was encouraged by the famous actor Sreenivasan who gave him assurance writing scripts. Mohanan studied and lived with Sreenivasan while studying for his degree.

Mohanan worked as Assistant Director with Sathyan Anthikad and made 14 films as his assistant. Shri. M. Mohanan is the recipient of Kerala State Film Award for Best Story and the Kerala State Film Award for Best Popular Film.

His Movies : 916, Manikiakkallu, Katha Parayumpol. Master Adarsh Nair"" (12 Years) has been selected to act as Hero in this movie. "My God" (Film with a strong social thriller with a strong message / the problem caused by parental pressure and how it can effect lives of children ). Adarsh Nair was selected to play the lead role after several rounds of auditions (from 6000 applications/children). Other eminent cine artists viz. Suresh Gopi, Joy Mathew, Sreenivasan, Honey Rose, Lena, Abhi Madhav, Indrans, Chali Pala, Kalabhavan Haneefa, and many leading artists are acting in this movie. My God is being produced by Mahi Puthusseri, Shyna V, Raveendran and Pradeep under the banner Karunya V R Creations. "My God"will release on 1 May 2015. God^[1]

Personal life

Mohan is the brother of famous cine-actor Sreenivasan's wife Vimala. He also has five sisters.

Mohan is married to Sheena. The couple is blessed with a daughter BhvayaThara.
