M. Athar Tahir
M. Athar Tahir is a Pakistani civil servant who has made his name as a poet, author, translator, painter and calligrapher.[1] He studied at Lawrence College Ghora Gali Murree, Oxford University, England, and the University of Pennsylvania, USA.
Awards for his works include the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz for literature in 1998, the Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai Award in 1990, and the National Book Council Prize in 1991.[2]
