Luzula pilosa, or Luzula acuminata ssp. acuminata , with the common name hairy wood-rush, is a species of flowering plant in the rush family.
The plant is native to the northern central and eastern United States and to Canada.[1]
Description
The species is 10–39 millimetres (0.39–1.54 in) high with its basal leaves are 3–25 centimetres (1.2–9.8 in) high and are 3–11 millimetres (0.12–0.43 in) wide. Its cauline leaves are 2–6 millimetres (0.079–0.236 in) wide and are 3–4.5 centimetres (1.2–1.8 in) high.[2]
