Luz y sombra is a Mexican telenovela produced by Gonzalo Martínez Ortega for Televisa in 1989.[1]

Thalía and Alberto Mayagoitía stars as the protagonists, while Enrique Álvarez Félix star as the antagonists.

Plot

Alma and José are two young people who try by all means to succeed and be somebody in life, despite the room raw live, characterized by poverty, street children and youth diverted from track and fallen into the drug. Soul lives with his mother Mercedes, who has led to believe her daughter that her father Eusebius died, but the truth is that this left them long ago and now lives with another woman. Joseph, meanwhile, is a boy who dreams of being a great Olympic swimmer, as well as soul dreams of becoming a famous ballerina. Despite the hostilities that are forced to live day to day, Alma and Joseph don't they surrender to nothing and try to achieve their dreams, even if they have to go through misfortunes and sufferings.
