The Luxembourg Steelers of Dudelange are a Luxembourgish amateur American football team based in Dudelange. The Steelers are currently members of the AFFL - American Football Federation Luxembourg and play in the LLFA - Ligue Lorraine de Football Américain - Championat Réginal For the First Time in the History of the Team since 1993, the Luxembourg Steelers of Dudelange (anc. Dudelange Dragons, anc. Luxembourg Dragons of Dudelange) win a championship and is the winner in the LLFA of the " Championat Réginal " 1. Place American Football in South Luxembourg since 1993 @ Dudelange

History

1993

The Dudelange Dragons was founded. The initiative came from A couple of friends who wanted to play American football.

1994-1996

The Dudelange Dragons Senior Team participates in the BFL.

1997 – 1998

The Dudelange Dragons Senior Team participates in the German "AFVD Rheinland/Pfalz-Saarland" league.

1999-2000

The Dudelange Dragons Senior Team participe in the Arena Football League and play scrimmages.

2001-2002

The Dudelange Dragons Senior Team only plays scrimmages.

2003-2006

The Dudelange Dragons Senior Team participe in the German AFVD Rheinland/Pfalz-Saarland Aufbauliga.

2007-2008

The Dudelange Dragons Senior Team only plays scrimmages.

2009 Season

The Dudelange Dragons Senior Team participates again in the BFL, LFFAB.

EFAF 2010 Atlantic Cup

2011

Due to restructering measures the Dragons had to withdraw their participation in the 2011 season of the BFL.[6] But they host the 3rd edition of the Atlantic Cup.[7] The Dudelange Dragons Senior Team only plays scrimmages.
