Lunz am See is a municipality in the district of Scheibbs, Lower Austria, Austria.
Since May 2007 Lunz am See is the home of the "Wasser Cluster Lunz".
The pole of cold of Central Europe, with an official record of -52.6º was measured here on 19 February 1932[2] at 47°49′13.7″N 15°2′42″E / 47.820472°N 15.04500°E.
