Anatomical terminology |
The lumbar lymph nodes (paraaortic nodes) are a group of lymph nodes residing in the lumbar region.
They consist of the following groups:
- right and left lateral aortic lymph nodes
- preaortic lymph nodes
- retroaortic lymph nodes (or 'postaortic')
