Luiz Gustavo Silva de Aviz (born 23 February 1972 in Belo Horizonte), commonly known as Luiz Gustavo is a former Brazilian footballer who played as a forward.

Career

Luiz Gustavo started his professional career in Cruzeiro, alongside Ramon, but shortly after, moved to Portugal, joining Belenenses,[1] where we would stay 4 seasons with nearly 90 league appearances. He moved to Benfica but left in February 1996,[2] to join Internacional. He then moved around almost every season, including a brief period at Fluminense.[3]

He represented Brazil in the 1989 FIFA U20.[4]
