Club career

Born in Ponferrada, Castile and León,[1] Valcarce began his career with hometown's SD Ponferradina, making his senior debuts with the reserves. In 2011 he moved to CD Numancia, being initially assigned to the youth setup and being promoted to the B-team in 2012.

On 17 August 2013 Valcarce played his first professional match, coming on as a second-half substitute in a 0–0 draw at CD Lugo for the Segunda División championship.[2] On 30 January 2015, despite being injured, he and his brother Pablo renewed his link with the Rojillos, until 2017.[3]
