Lufthansa Regional is the regional airline alliance of the German Lufthansa Group.
Overview
It currently consists of two members, which are both owned by Lufthansa. They maintain bases at Frankfurt Airport and Munich Airport. Lufthansa Regional transports 10.5 million passengers per year, serving over 80 destinations and over 150 routes. The flights are sold as Lufthansa flights operated by one of the members in the name of Lufthansa Regional. Its predecessor was Team Lufthansa.

Current partners
Flights under the "Lufthansa Regional" banner are operated by two partner airlines based at Lufthansa's hub airports:
- Air Dolomiti at Munich Airport (additionally operates some routes under their own brand)
- Lufthansa CityLine at Frankfurt Airport and Munich Airport
Former partners
- Augsburg Airways (ceased operations by October 2013 as the contract with Lufthansa wasn't renewed)
- Contact Air (ceased operations by October 2012 as the contract with Lufthansa wasn't renewed)
- Eurowings (until 25 October 2014, currently flying exclusively on behalf of Germanwings)[1]
Fleet
The combined fleet of both airlines operating for Lufthansa Regional consists of the following planes as of April 2015:[2][3]
- 14 Bombardier CRJ900 (operated by Lufthansa CityLine)
- 9 Embraer 190 (operated by Lufthansa CityLine)
- 34 Embraer 195 (10 operated by Air Dolomiti, 24 by Lufthansa CityLine)
