Ludwig Jost
Ludwig Jost ForMemRS[1] (born November 13, 1865 Karlsruhe - 1947) was a German botanist, and university professor.
Life and work
After attending the Gymnasium in Karlsruhe, Jost studied natural sciences in Heidelberg, and in 1885 at the Kaiser Wilhelm University. He obtained his PhD, and worked there until 1918 as a scientist. In 1918, he left for Heidelberg.
Jost's main field was the physiology of plants.
