Love Deluxe World Tour (also known as the Deluxe Tour) is the fourth concert tour by English band, Sade. Visiting North America Europe, Asia and Australia the tour is in support the band's fourth studio album Love Deluxe. However, there is not much information about this tour or the past ones (especially the Australian leg and some European dates).
Background
Sade hit the UK Top 100 with "No Ordinary Love". It reached #14 and remained on the UK single charts for 11 weeks. Love Deluxe, produced and arranged by Sade and recorded at Studio Condulmer, Venice, Ridge Farm, Surrey, The Hit Factory, London, Image Recording, Los Angeles, was released in the United Kingdom. Sade hit the UK Top 100 with Love Deluxe. It reached #10 and remained on the UK album charts for 27 weeks. Also, Sade hit the US Top 200 with Love Deluxe. It reached #3 and remained on the US album charts for 103 weeks.
The tour was officially announced during the holidays in 1992 with early performances in North America, several shows in Japan, Australia and pleasing the demand all over Europe (35 shows). To date, there is no official page that shows the complete tour schedule.
About the tour
After four continents, the show was entirely recorded during the performances in San Diego which presents the complete setlist played in North America and Europe.
Broadcast and recordings
The recording was taken from two concerts, held respectively at the SDSU Open Air Theatre in San Diego. The DVD is packed with twenty-one tracks plus special features.
