"Love" is a song performed by Romanian recording artist Inna. The song was written and produced by native dance music trio Play & Win. It acts as the second single released from her debut studio album Hot. It was released on digital format through Roton and Ultra Records across various countries in Europe and the United States. However, the release of "Love" has been very limited so far, where it has mainly acted as an airplay single and only receiving an official full single release in Romania, Spain, and the United States to date. Most countries in which the song was released, the Love (Play & Win Radio Edit) was used as the official single version. The lyrics evoke a meaning of how complicated situations of love can become.

The single has so far garnered success for Inna in the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and Romania where it became her second consecutive top-twenty hit. In Romania and Poland, "Love" outperformed previous single "Hot" on the charts. In the Netherlands it was released as Inna's third single, after rumours that "10 Minutes", her fifth single overall, would be released first.

Background

"Love" is Inna's second major hit. It was released on Romanian mainstream radio on March 12, 2009 and quickly entered the Romanian Top 100. At the time, when "Love" reached its peak of popularity on the chart, Inna herself won three MTV Romania Music Awards and achieved two Romanian Top Hits Award nominations for the song. Written and produced by Play & Win in the fall of 2008, the production is very similar to its predecessor, called "Hot".

The music video for "Love" leaked onto the internet in early April 2009 and was later released onto the YouTube channel of Roton Records on 7 May 2009. In the music video for "Love", Inna is in a gym. Some scenes are played in slow motion. The premise is the battle between Good (White colour) and Evil (Black colour). The video starts with a confluence of two flowing water fluxes, one being white and the other black. In the next image, a ballerina pirouetting through the air is pictured. In the next scene, Inna appears wearing white shorts with a black belt and a long white veil. Then we are introduced to a skilled boxer who is beating a punching bag. Later in the video a boy is making a rustle. In the rest of the music video the scenes with Inna singing next to an old wall, the scenes with the ballerina and the ones with the boxer succeeding each other. In the end of the video Inna is running away among the other people previously presented. She seems unhappy because of their violence.
