Louisiana State Route 91 (LA 91) was one of the 98 original state highways that were established in 1924. It ran in an north to south direction for 20.22 miles (32.54 km), spanning from Slaughter to the Mississippi state line. It was designated in the post-1955 system as Louisiana Highway 19.

Route description

From the south, LA 91 began at an intersection with LA 126 and turned north towards Ethel. It crossed the Illinois Central Railroad north of Ethel, a railroad grade that doesn't exist anymore. It met LA 35 in the community of McManus before meeting LA 314 in Wilson.

North of Wilson, LA 91 entered Norwood, a small town along the Illinois Central. It then crossed into Mississippi, meeting MS 33 en route to Centreville, Mississippi.
