LA 411 begins at the intersection of LA 76 in Rosedale, running north on the eastern banks of a Mississippi River canal runoff, with LA 77 running on the west side of the canal. Six miles (9.7 km) from the southern terminus, LA 411 passes by the eastern edges of Maringouin.
