From the south, LA 3266 begins at a junction with LA 308 (Bayou Road) and a bridge over Bayou Lafourche. It proceeds north along Coulon Plantation Road to a terminus at Forty Arpent Road, a local road. Although being classified as a state highway since being built, it wasn't until June 2013 where official markers were placed on the road properly.
