Louisiana Highway 3245 (LA 3245) is a state highway in Louisiana that serves East Baton Rouge Parish. It spans 2.92 miles (4.70 km) in a south to north direction. It is known locally as O'Neal Lane and O'Neal Lane Extension.
Route description
From the south, LA 3245 begins along O'Neal Lane at an intersection with South Harrels Ferry Road in Baton Rouge. It heads northerly and intersects I-12 at a diamond interchange (Exit 7). LA 3245 continues northerly and intersects LA 426 (Old Hammond Highway). The final stretch north of this point (which is known as the O'Neal Lane Extension) continues to a terminus at US 190 (Florida Boulevard).
LA 3245 begins at South Harrells Ferry Road, as an undivided, three-lane highway (with a middle turning lane) and continues as such until about a half-mile south of I-12. At that point, the highway expands to an undivided four-lane highway until just north of the interchange. It then becomes an undivided, two-lane highway for the rest of its length; however, it is part of Baton Rouge's Green Light Project to be expanded as a multilane highway for its entire length.
