Route description
LA 3228 (Palmisano Boulevard) is a short connector road that provides access from LA 46 (St. Bernard Highway) to LA 39 (East Judge Perez Drive) in Chalmette.
LA 3228 is briefly four lanes wide at LA 39 (East Judge Perez Drive) before narrowing to two lanes for the remainder of the route.
It was incorporated as a state highway to handle traffic from Chalmette High School.
