Louisiana Highway 3162 (LA 3162) is a state highway that serves Lafourche Parish. It spans a total of 0.69 miles (1.11 km) in Galliano.[1]
Route description
From the west, LA 3162 begins at an intersection with LA 3235 and proceeds east along West 121st Street to an intersection with LA 1 at Bayou Lafourche. It then crosses a bridge over the bayou and reaches its eastern terminus at LA 308. It acts as a connector between LA 1 and LA 3235 (the four-lane bypass of LA 1) on the west bank of Bayou Lafourche and LA 308 on the east bank in Galliano.
LA 3162 is an undivided, two-lane highway for its entire length.
