Louisiana Highway 3142 (LA 3142) is a state highway in Louisiana which serves St. Charles Parish. It spans 1.6 miles (2.6 km) in a south to north direction.[1]
Route description
From the south, LA 3142 serves as an undivided, two-lane connector road between LA 3127 and LA 18 near Taft. It is primarily used by workers at the nearby Dow Chemical and Waterford Nuclear Power Plants. Due to the heavy rail traffic in the area, LA 3142 has an overpass (built in 1976) that crosses several railroad tracks.
