Louisiana Highway 3100 (LA 3100) is a state highway in Louisiana that serves Pineville, Rapides Parish. It spans 1.0 mile (1.6 km) in a south-to-north direction from U.S. Route 165 Business to an interchange with US 167 and LA 28.
Route description
From the south, LA 3100 begins at an intersection with US 165 Bus. near Louisiana College. LA 3100 treks north along Donahue Ferry Road turning east at an intersection with Spur LA 3100. LA 3100 then passes Lessie Moore Elementary, where the school zone drops the speed limit to 15 miles per hour (25 km/h), and ends at an intersection with the Pineville Expressway (US 167) and LA 28.
LA 3100 is an undivided, two-lane highway with a center turning lane for its entire length. Before the 1955 renumbering, LA 3100 was State Route 123. The original route took SR 123 down Mary Street to College Drive, then north along College Drive to Prairie Street, then along Arkansas Street to Purser Street, north along Hartsfield Avenue to the current route of LA 28.
