Louisiana Highway 3098 (LA 3098) is a state highway in Louisiana. It spans 3.94 miles (6.34 km), serving Grant Parish.
Route description
LA 3098 begins as an extension of LA 1230 when the highway dips to the south. LA 3098 passes through forest before turning south along the old alignment of US 165. Using the original alignment, LA 3098 meets LA 1230 once more, with LA 1230 crossing to the east along the 1920s alignment of US 165, while LA 3098 uses a 1940's alignment of US 165.
LA 3098 ends at an intersection with US 165 in the small town of Georgetown, about one tenth of a mile north of US 165's intersection with LA 500.
LA 3098 is an undivided, two-lane road for its entire route. Before the 1955 Louisiana Highway renumbering, LA 3098 was known as State Route 14.
