Los Angeles (Maywood) Assembly
Los Angeles (Maywood) Assembly was a Chrysler assembly plant located in Commerce, California that operated from 1932 until 1971, at the address of 5800 Eastern and Slauson. In 1932 it manufactured Dodge and Plymouth trucks, but later switched to war production. During the war, the plant made over 40,000 aircraft engines, as well as Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress and Lockheed PV-2 cabin tops.
