Lord Willin' is the debut album from Virginia hip-hop duo Clipse. Released on August 20, 2002 and sold 122,000 units in its first week of release.[1] The album was certified gold by the RIAA on October 1, 2002.[2] As of October 26, 2007, the album has sold 1,000,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.[2]

Reception

Online music magazine Pitchfork Media placed Lord Willin' at number 155 on their list of top 200 albums of the 2000s.[3] Slant Magazine placed the album on their list of best albums of the 2000s at number 98.[4]

In 2010, B.F. Goodrich launched a series of tire commercials starring snowboarder Shaun White and featuring the track "Young Boy". The ads prominently highlight the lyric, "I'ma tell you what I'm talkin' 'bout."
