Lord Francis Seymour
Lord Francis Seymour[1] (1726 - 16 Feb 1799) was the Dean[2] of Wells[3] from 1766 until[4] his death on 16 February 1799.[5] He was the fifth child and fourth son of Edward Seymour, 8th Duke of Somerset.[6]
In 1755 he was appointed Canon of the fourth stall at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, a position he held until 1766.
