Lord Cultural Resources is a cultural professional practice providing specialized planning services in the museum, cultural and heritage sector. The firm was founded in 1981 by Barry Lord and Gail Dexter Lord, and employs some 60 professionals and support staff, with offices in Toronto, Ottawa, New York, San Francisco, Paris, Mumbai and Beijing. It has successfully completed more than 2,000 museum planning assignments worldwide in 52 countries on 6 continents.[1]

Lord Cultural Resources offers a comprehensive range of integrated services including master planning, business planning, feasibility studies, cultural and heritage tourism planning, strategic planning, facility planning, functional programming, architect selection, interpretive planning, exhibition design, project management, training and recruitment. Their cultural projects include museums, mixed-use developments, cultural centres, art galleries, science centres, world expositions, visitor centres, heritage sites, festivals, theatres, archives, libraries and gardens. The firm's clients are in all sectors including private and public corporations, foundations, governments and non-profit institutions.
