Longford railway station serves the town of Longford in County Longford.
Longoford station is the terminus of Dublin Connolly to Longford Commuter service and on the Dublin Connolly to Sligo intercity services.
Longford is approximately 91 km from Sligo and 122 km from Dublin. Journeys to the capital by rail generally take about an hour and three quarters.
Numerous Bus Éireann Expressway and local bus routes stop immediately outside the station. As does Wharton's bus to Cavan via Drumlish, Arva and Crossdoney. Whartons Travel operate a route to Longford railway station via Crossdoney, Arvagh, Drumlish and Longford.[1]
