London Corner

London Corner is a suburb of Serekunda, the biggest city in the Gambia.[1] It is situated at the central of Serekunda {Serekunda Central}, its neighbors are Dippakunda, Bakoteh village and Bundung on two sides. The market in London Corner is called "MARCI NGLEWE" and was officially open in 1994 by the president of the second Republic of the Gambia, Yahya Jammeh. Before it was a market, the youths use it as a football field. In London Corner you will fine out that most of its people know each other and live like a family. The main sport played in London Corner is football {Soccer} and there are lots of football teams in London Corner. These teams do play in the Serekunda East Nawettan Zone, notable of them are London United Football Club, Wales Football Club, Janjanga FC, Nguma FC, Check Point FC, Bayern FC and lots more. The only playing ground in London Corner is call ZION. This is where everything happens, been it naming ceremonies, marriage, political rallies, meeting by the youth groups, football matches, etc.
