London Buses route 386 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Woolwich and Blackheath Village, it is operated by Stagecoach London.
History
Route 386 connects a number of areas in the London Borough of Greenwich via a rather circuitous route.
In 2012 it was proposed, and put to public consultation, that the route 386 towards Woolwich and Plumstead departing via Tranquil Vale, Hare and Billet Road and Wat Tyler Road to the top of Blackheath Hill be re-routed to follow the same route across Blackheath that it does in the opposite direction. [1]
In July 2013, route 386 was retained by Stagecoach London. [2]
In July 2014 the route change across Blackheath mentioned above was put into effect.
