London Buses route 337 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Clapham Junction and Richmond, it is operated by London General.

History

Route 337 commenced operating on 25 May 1991, replacing part of route 37 between Clapham Junction and Richmond, using MCW Metrobuses from Stockwell garage.

Upon tendering, the route passed from London General to London United on 10 May 1999. Initially run from Fulwell Bus Garage using MCW Metrobuses, the route was transferred to Hounslow in November 1999. The route was converted to low floor in August 2000 using Alexander ALX400 bodied Volvo B7TLs.

Upon being re-tendered, on 29 May 2004 the route passed to Arriva Wandsworth.[1] Arriva chose to operate out of the Wandsworth garage of its Original Tour subsidiary, a garage that had last operated route services in 1986. Initially operated by Wright Pulsar Gemini bodied DAF DB250s ordered for route 137, these were replaced by Alexander ALX400 bodied Volvo B7TLs.

Upon being re-tendered, in May 2011 the route returned to London General's Stockwell garage with new Alexander Dennis Enviro400s.[2]
