The Loma Linda University School of Public Health offers degrees in earth and biological sciences; environmental health and geoinformatics sciences; epidemiology, biostatistics, and population medicine; global health; health policy and management; health promotion and education; and nutrition.

History

The School of Public Health started as the School of Tropical and Preventive Medicine in 1948. The School officially became the School of Public Health in 1967.[1]

The School of Public Health is fully accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health and has maintained that status since 1967.[5] The School is also regionally accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Accrediting Association of Seventh-day Adventist Schools, Colleges, and Universities (AAA).
