Lokmanya: Ek Yug Purush (Marathi: लोकमान्य: एक युग पुरुष) is an upcoming Marathi film starring Subodh Bhave in lead role. The film is slated to release on 2 January 2015. The first look teaser of the film was released on 2 January 2014 on YouTube & was shown in theaters with the film Timepass on 3 January 2014. The film encompasses the journey of a young boy from his early days to becoming the legend – “Father of Indian Unrest” (Bal Gangadhar Tilak) thus inspiring generations to come. Nailing hard the message that when it comes to systems and social situation today, everyday comes as a new difficulty, problem; however, when looked at the same through Lokmanya’s (Bal Gangadhar Tilak) eyes, it’s nothing but a challenge and hence a new opportunity, an opportunity that opens into development and progress of our nation, India. This should inspire the young generation to head towards their dreams and embrace the way of “The Lokmanya”era.
The film released on 2 January 2015 and received positive reviews from audience as well as critics. Subodh Bhave was specially praised for the portrayal of Lokmanya Tilak.

Critical Reception
