Local Government Yorkshire and Humber

Local Government Yorkshire and Humber (LGYH) is the partnership of local authorities, including fire, police and national park authorities, across Yorkshire and Humber. It has links to the Local Government Association at national level and incorporates the regional employers organisation for Yorkshire and Humber.

It brings local authorities together on key issues, supports the improvement of service delivery, influences Government on the future of local government, promotes good employment practices, and works with local authorities to improve the public perception of local government.
