Lloyd Perrett (born 17 December 1994) is a New Zealander Australian professional rugby league footballer who currently plays for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs of the National Rugby League. He primarily plays prop.

Early years

Born in Hamilton, New Zealand, Perrett is the younger brother of fellow Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs player Sam Perrett.[1]

Perrett moved to Australia at a young age and played his junior football for the Burleigh Bears before being signed by the Sydney Roosters. In 2012, Perrett played for the Sydney Roosters' S. G. Ball Cup team before moving to the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs mid-season with his brother Sam.[2] Perrett played for the Bulldogs' NYC team from 2012 to 2014.[3] In 2013, Perrett played for the Junior Kangaroos.[4] In 2013 and 2014, Perrett played for the Queensland Under 20s team.[5][6]

Playing career

In Round 15 of the 2014 NRL season, Perrett made his NRL debut for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs against the Canberra Raiders off the interchange bench in the Bulldogs 22-14 win at Canberra Stadium.[7][8] In Round 23 against the Parramatta Eels at ANZ Stadium, Perrett suffered a season ending ankle injury in the Bulldogs 18-16 win.[9] Perrett finished his debut year in the NRL in 2014 season with him playing in 8 matches for the Bulldogs. On 19 November 2014, Perrett re-signed with the Bulldogs on a 4-year contract.[10][11]
