Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital (LHCH) is a major specialist cardiothoracic hospital and NHS foundation trust located in the suburb of Broadgreen; in the city of Liverpool, England. The hospital shares its site and buildings with the adjacent Broadgreen Hospital, and is sometimes referred to informally as Broadgreen due to its location. LHCH serves the population of Merseyside, North West England, North Wales and the Isle of Man but also provides services for patients from all areas of the United Kingdom performing up to 12,000 procedures a year.[3] It is one of several specialist hospitals located within the Liverpool City Region, alongside Liverpool Women's Hospital, Alder Hey Children's Hospital, The Walton Centre, and Clatterbridge Cancer Centre.
