Live from the Kitchen is the fifth studio album by American rapper Yo Gotti. It was released on January 10, 2012 after several delays.[6][7] It will be released from RCA Records, due to his former label, J Records, being shut down by Sony Music Entertainment, along with Arista Records, and Jive Records.

Singles

The album's lead promotional single, "5 Star", was available for digital download on June 11, 2009.[8] The song became Gotti's most successful song on the chart, peaking at number 79 on the US Billboard Hot 100, number 19 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and number 11 on the Hot Rap Songs chart.[9][10][11] The remix version of "5 Star", features rappers Gucci Mane, Trina and Nicki Minaj, was released for digital download on November 9, 2009.[12][13] "Women Lie, Men Lie" featuring Lil Wayne was released for digital download on December 11, 2009.[14][15] The song peaked at number 81 on the Hot 100, number 22 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and number 12 on the Hot Rap Songs chart.[9][10][10][11][16][17]

The album's lead single, "We Can Get It On" was released for digital download on May 9, 2011.[18] The song peaked at number 31 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and number 22 on the Hot Rap Songs chart. The album's second single, "Single" featuring Stuey Rock, was released for digital download on August 5, 2011,[19] and peaked at number 75 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Upon the album's release, "Harder" featuring Rick Ross debuted and peaked at #6 on the Bubbling Under R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

Commercial performance

The album debuted at number 12 on the Billboard 200, with 16,000 copies in its first week of sales in the United States.[20] After three weeks on the chart, the album has sold 36,000 copies in the United States.[21] As of September 2013, the album has sold 72,000 copies in the United States.[22]
