This is a list of military battles and wars that involves and occurred in Bangladesh, or Bengal, and the people of Bengal throughout different periods in history. Most of the battles and wars occurred when the modern area of Bengal was under different empire, especially most of the Bengali's gave military service in the British Indian army and fought wars as the British Empire. After Independence in 1971, they had their own military. And West Bengal after partition being part of the Indian Army.
