List of largest shopping malls in Nigeria

This article lists shopping malls in Nigeria with a gross leasable area of at least 10,000 square meters. Nigeria currently has over 100,000 square meters of leasable area in modern format shopping centers and will be adding another 180,000 square meters of retail space by 2016.[1] The largest of these shopping centers operational or under construction are listed below.[2]

Note: The Tinapa Shopping Centre is not included in this article, as the percentage of nameplate retail space that is currently dedicated for retail purposes is not entirely verifiable AND is also not adequate. It is mostly a nonperforming retail centre, with only a fraction of its 80,000 sqm proposed retail space - serving retail functions. [24]
